Thanksgiving in Arizona '09

We went over to Arizona for Thanksgiving to spend it with family. It was so great, as always, to see everyone. Wednesday night we had a wonderfully delicious traditional Thanksgiving dinner at my parents' house with them, Tim's parents, my SIL Tiff, niece Tatum, my bro Devin and his little Hallebug. Grammy Thresa certainly does know how to do up a Thanksgiving meal! Her dressing is THE BEST!!
Lukie was soooo enthralled with this automatic card shuffler my dad gave to him. He sat there and played and played with that thing...and still loves it!
Uncle Dev and Chance messin' around...you can always count on a good wrestle with Uncle Devin around, that's for sure!
Chancers, Timmy and Mum (Nanny) being utterly silly...
My sister-in-law Tiffany and my niece Tatum came over to eat with us. It was so great to see them...Tatum was upset cuz Chance was just a bit taller than her and she is 10 1/2!!
On the morning of Thanksgiving Day, we went to watch Tim's Dad, Papa Brad, finish his HALF MARATHON! That's right...62 year old, twice cancer survivor ran a Half Marathon! He did soooo awesome and we are so proud of him! Here Lukie is at Peoria Sports Complex (the finish line) where the Padres happen to do their Spring Training.
Dad finishing the race! Way to go!!!! Sitting on the bleachers are Tim, Chance Lukie and Mum.
Here's the champion with his 2 favorite boys!
He ran the race with his good long-time friend. I think his friend is 67. Wow...crazy! What an inspiration!
Timmy and his dad...
Ahhhhh!!!
Lukie kept asking him..."Did you win the race?" Dad would say "I finished"...but Luke just kept asking "did you win?" Finally, we told him "YES! He won he won!" Then Luke just said "ok cool". Funny.
Thanksgiving Day we went to Cracker Barrell (yum!) with Nanny and Papa, Uncle Devin and Halle, and had a traditional French Toast breakfast! ha! yum!!!

Papa James, Luke and Halle stop for a smile while scarfing down some carrots and "ranching", as Lukie calls it! We had a great time, as always.
Friday I went and did my always fun, always wonderful Horton Girls' Shopping Day with my mum, Courtney and Nicole. So great to spend all day with my girls! Thanks mum...I got some GREAT stuff!
