HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY LUKIE DUKES!
LUKE turned 7 on December 30th, 2011.  The only 'party' he wanted was to go bowling with his best friends, Alec and Nick Murphy.   So, the 6 of us went to the bowling alley in San Marcos and ate pizza and drank root beer and bowled for two hours straight! ... Well, ALMOST all of us...
Chance hurt his hand ... he was about to throw the ball but it flew up and off of his fingers & at the same time he fell and crushed his fingers below his knee & then the ball came back down and landed on the same fingers!  It swelled up right away so I didn't think it was broken but we left the festivities and promptly went to get x-rays.  Sprained fingers fortunately no broken bones.  He couldn't play the piano for a few days but and he was pretty much healed up by the time school's Winter Break was over so that was good.  Sorry Bubby!

Luke - since it was Friday on Winter Break, there were sooooooo many kids there and we couldn't find a ball small enough for Luke.  The people that were bowling next to us were kind enough to share their ball with Lukie.

The Birthday Boy!!!!
7 years ago Lukie joined our little family, a month before he was due to come.  We were so blessed with him being incredibly healthy at 6 lbs. 3 ozs. being born a month early!  The hospital kept referring to him as 'premie' but he was NOT premie size!  I mean, he was scrawny, but he would have been over 9 lbs. if he went full term!  We were so happy when you came to us and there has NOT been one single dull day since!  We love you Lukie Dukes, my monster mash, my angel bug, my stinky butt boy, my fart munch!
