Over the holiday break from school, the boys went to stay over at their besties' house - so totally last minute Tim and I decided to drive up to Redondo Beach to see DADA's show at The Brixton (right on the pier). It was a super quick, super fun trip. It was sooooo foggy outside! We walked around for over an hour along the foggy pier in the dark looking for this stupid sushi restaurant, The Sushi Duke. Finally we thought - hey let's look it up on the iPhone! We found out we were nowhere near it, so walked several blocks off the water and finally found the place. We waited almost TWO hours for our food - it was awful. Never go to The Sushi Duke in Redondo Beach! Anyhoo, we had a kick-ass time watching our fav band and seeing all of the 'regulars'...then we enjoyed a free night at the Marriott (thank you very much) and drove home the next morning to grab the monsters. Super fast, super fun, I love my sweetie.
