What an amazing baseball season for Chance with La Costa Youth Organization, Spring ball 2012! He had 3 quite wonderful men coaching (Coach Ed, Coach Jay & Coach Scott) a team that promote and practice positivity, hard work and fun. The team, the North Carolina Wolfpack, went all the way to playoffs and ultimately WON the championship! Great job boys! Such a neat group of kids! Chance learned a lot on this team and will forever remember their perfect season!
They played at a few different spots; this spot, La Costa Park was just down from the street from our church building.
Championship t-shite, Championship ball (signed by all coaches and players), and Championship medal. AWESOME!
At the end of season party, the boys had a blast in this amazing backyard. Unfortunately, going down the slide, Chance smacked the back his head/neck HARD on the bottom of the concrete before dropping into the pool. Fortunately, two parents on our team that were present were doctors so he was thoroughly checked out and deemed ok.
We had fun watching photos in a slideshow from the season.
Dance time!
Cake time!
Coach Ed was an absolutely amazing person to have as a Coach. After every game and practice, the team would pray for gratitude. Like I said, amazing. In this video he shared that Chance was the hardest worker on the team, and the most improved player. :)
