1st day of school August 2011

Before we knew it our 8 week summer was over and it was time to go back to school...

 They each carefully planned their outfits...Chance in his newer Domo "mustachio" shirt, his LA Dodger's hat and jeans (the kid really doesn't like to wear shorts), and Luke in his skinny jeans and black shirt (if he could wear a black shirt every day he would) and his Dodger's hat.  So stinkin' cute.  Luke started 1st grade with Ms. Mirzaian and Chance started 3rd grade with Ms. Kelso at La Costa Heights Elementary in Carlsbad, California.  This is our 4th year at La Costa Heights already!  Cannot believe it! And it will be so weird without Mrs. Hockert as one of the boys' teachers!  We pop in to visit her frequently though!

 Luke is in class with one of his best buddies, Sawyer again this year.  They were both thrilled with this! Luke would not cooperate with getting his picture taken.  And he didn't even really want a hug and kiss from mama either.  Tear!

We weren't able to get a pic with Ms. Mirzaian on the 1st day.  I'm sure we'll get one soon though.  She is a sweetheart and was familiar with Chance from when he was in 1st grade and she was excited to have Luke in her class!  My babies are growin' up!
