In October, Luke's 1st grade class went to Bates Nut Farm in Valley Center to go to their pumpkin patch on a field trip. It was a very hot day and the kids did pretty well considering the heat! Here Luke is with his 'best buddy' Hayden from his class on the tractor ride.

Luke and Hayden again. The teachers advised the kids to wear hates - I felt so bad because Hayden had on this thick wool cap on that was black and so hot!

Surprise! Tori and Jake, Gwynneth, Cole and Olivia came for a visit that same week. I don't have any pics other than these! They took the kids to Sea World and froze all day, then they met us at the pumpkin patch where Gwyn had an allergy attack and it was so incredibly hot! It was soooo great to have them in our home and to spend awesome quality time with them. Jake is doing well out of chiropractic school and we missed them while they were at Palmer in Iowa for 3 years!
Cole is trying to climb into the wheelbarrow. Gwyn's face is red from crying because she had to leave the hay maze cuz of coughing. Poor girl.
And here's baby Olivia. She actually liked me...which I guess is rare for her to like strangers.
